Founding Members
APID was formed by thirteen Interior Design Companies/ Institutions who collectively recognised the need for a body that would be a platform for the industry for all its constituents to work together for common benefit. It was registered on November 25, 2005 as a Business Forum with the Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai. Kenneth Laidler was elected the first President, and Dr. John Alexander Smith, the Vice President of the Association. The Founding Member companies are:
