Executive Committee
The APID Executive Committee does the annual planning and along with the Board is the think tank of the Association. This committee is made up of the Chairpersons of the sub committees of APID who meet once a month to plan and review activities. The members are: re:
Membership:Nemr Sidani, Managing Director, Archdome Interiors, Dubai

1. Prime objective is to build and retain membership within the region.
2. To review and advise both members and students on level and quality of individual portfolios.
3. To arrange classifications of selected members, assess fee levels of entry.
4. Represent interests of members including direction to Sub-Committees.
Events: Christian Merieau, Managing Director, Samuel Creations, Dubai
1. To plan the annual events calendar in conjunction with the Secretariat.
2. To approve of budgets for the events.
3. To assist the Secretariat in implementing the events.
Professional Practice: Faten Alsarraf, Managing Director, Final Fix Interiors, Dubai
1. To review contractual issues on behalf of members and clients
2. To recommend documentation to be provided that will assist membership with business activities.
3. To monitor standards being pursued by insurance agencies, legal advisors and business consultants.
4. To ensure members are aware of changes in Municipality regulations.
4. To research into professional attitudes, methods, systems and working methods employed in the region and other parts of the world.
Education: Jan Arentoft, A&D Manager, Gemaco Interiors, Dubai
1. Five members on this committee with a minimum of two Educationalists.
2. To establish a level of excellence to interact with Universities, attend assessments, advice Universities and students of all issues relating to working practice.
3. To plan the annual Continual Education Program (CEP)
4. Provide educational content for website.
5. To be the liaising body with Universities.
Public Relations: Nathalie Habib, Greenline Interiors, Dubai
1. To suggest ways in which to promote the association and members.
2. To arrange exhibitions in conjunction with other Sub-Committee.
3. To take part in interviews and introduce other members as speakers and guest specialists.
4. Deal with all editorials and ensure society is represented for the exhibitions and seminars.
5. To monitor website content and suggest improvements.
International Relations: Gianni Sharrouf, Director, Purity LLC, Dubai
1. To maintain fraternal relations with similar bodies worldwide.
2. To source sponsorships and speakers from abroad.
3. To liaise with trade bodies and NGO’s to further the interests of the association.
