Mission Statement

     Aims and objectives of APID - Association of Professional Interior Designers

1. To assist the promotion of the highest professional ideals of interior design to governmental bodies, industry and membership
2. To assist monitoring standards of design and professional practice of membership
3. To promote continual professional advancement of interior designers by conducting workshops and seminars etc.
4. To be consulted as a responsible body by other related professionals and to readily provide guidance and assistance as may be required to both membership and industry.
5. To stand equally alongside other representative societies and institutions and to participate fully in world wide events, debates and issues relating to professional interior design practice and interior design standards.
6. To support the larger community by providing professional codes of interior design specifications in various sectors such as hospitality, healthcare, education environment etc.
7. To be a support to Universities in interior design education by providing interaction with interior design professional.
8. To create awareness of professional interior design services and usages among the public.
9. To be a platform where the entire interior design community comprising of designers, decorators, the supply industry, educators and students of interior design, and the various client bodies can come together for common benefit and a thriving community
